Stanley (Stan) Shneider is the principal of Hi-Care and was first registered as a migration agent in 2003. He is a Past State (QLD/NT) President and National Board Director of the Migration Institute of Australia. Before commencing practice as a migration agent, he was involved in administrative law in Victoria and Queensland and was the Chairman of a group of listed public companies. He served Rotary International for over twenty years, twice as Assistant District Governor, twice as Club President and was awarded a Paul Harris fellowship three times. Stan was the inaugural National Operations Director of Rotary Overseas Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC), Chairman of the organisation for homeless people, Gateway, and was the inaugural Honorary Secretary of the Edward De Bono Foundation. He is an Honorary Life Member of the St Kilda Football Club and a Senior Life Member of the Victorian Club. Stan was awarded a Moncrieff Community Award by the Australian Government and, in 2009 he was invested as a Knight of Honour of the Order of St John of Jerusalem Knights Hositaller, the world's oldest order of chivalry.

Gregory (Greg) Bowler started his career in the migration advice profession in 2001 as Manager of the Skilled and Business Migration Department of the Australian Capital Territory. In that role he represented his government on the State/Territory Working Party established by the Commonwealth’s Immigration Department. Greg has been a member of the executive of the Queensland Branch of the Migration Institute of Australia, the profession’s peak body, and has often been called upon to lecture his colleagues and others in Continuing Practice Development. He has been the President of his Rotary Club and awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship for his services to Rotary International and the community for over twenty years. Greg has been awarded a Commonwealth Services Medal for services to the Royal Life Saving Society.

ELZBIETA KINGA MATSUSHITA   MSc.

Elzbieta Matsushita has been Hi-Care’s Branch Manager for more than twelve years. Born in Poland, she spent several years studying in England before living in Japan for more than twenty years. Now an Australian citizen, Elzbieta converses and reads in Polish, English and Japanese, as well as having basic knowledge of Spanish and Russian. Before leaving Poland, Elzbieta was appointed as an Assistant Professor of the Sciences at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, held a number of national junior swimming titles and was selected for the Polish Olympic swimming team. She has held a number of Queensland State swimming titles in Masters Swimming. Apart from her administrative skills, Elzbieta fills an important role as an interpreter.

Jiang (Eddy) Liu is an admitted Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Queensland and a Registered Migration Agent. He is fluent in written and oral Mandarin. Eddy has practised exclusively in migration law since 2004 and collaborates with Hi-Care in many cases where Chinese nationals are the clients.

   

 

TIMOTHY JAY         BE(Aero)  LLB(Hons)  LLM

Timothy (Tim) Jay heads the legal firm Hi-Care Law Pty Ltd, which is associated but quite independent from Hi-Care. Tim is a Registered Migration Agent and works with Hi-Care on various matters. Tim holds a Master’s degree in law from Emory University in Georgia USA and a first class honours degree in law from Bond University, where he was an Assistant Law Professor for several years. Beforehand he was a serving aeronautical engineer and pilot with the Royal Australian Air Force and retired with the rank of Squadron Leader. He remains with that rank in the RAAF’s active reserve.
